Dr. Bruce C. Hemming - President & CEO
Dr. Hemming is an accomplished science and business professional with over 30 years of real-world experience in microbiology and its practical applications. In 1982 he received his doctorate in Plant Pathology from Montana State University - Bozeman. His BS degree in Microbiology and MS degree in Biochemistry are both from Brigham Young University, Utah. He is the founder and president of Microbe Inotech Laboratories, which is now in its 18th year of business. As an educator, Dr. Hemming served as an adjunct professor at St. Louis University as well as University of Missouri - St. Louis, and as a visiting faculty member for the Institute for Genetics Education at the University of Wisconsin. He currently serves on three biotechnology committees for multi-disciplinary teams inolved in original research. He has earned several patents on his research within the field of microbiology. Dr. Hemming was charged with the development of creative exploratory research within crop protection technology with a focus on biological control and microbial genetics and served as Biocontrol Project Leader in the development of biofungicides in conjunction with CSIRO Division of Solis Austrailia and Universities in the U.S.A. His responsibility included the development of collaborative agreements, preparation of regulatory documents, microbial physiology and tracking studies, coordination of the natural product/gene discovery effort, and field trials of various projects, which included the first introduction into the environment in the genetically engineered bacteria containing foreign genes.

Sara Blamey - Sr. Microbiologist II / Laboratory Manager
Sara assists in all aspects of sample receipt and preparation, setting up and running analyses, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing and co-signing client reports. As Laboratory Manager, Sara interacts with clients and prospective clients to determine testing needs, design of specific experiments, and for the development of project quotations. Sara is also involved with training and overseeing the interns.

Rob Hoffmann - Office Manager / Marketing & Sales
As Office Manager for Microbe Inotech Laboratories, Inc., Rob oversees the many day-to-day administrative operations of the MiL, Inc., including accounting, invoicing, troubleshooting various information systems, as well as checking in and processing samples. Rob is also involved with the creation and implementation of marketing, advertising, and promotional activities, including the company websites and newsletters.
